An AED is located in the clubhouse. An AED, or Automated External Defibrillator, is a computerized device that analyzes a person's heart rhythm for cardiac arrest and delivers an electrical shock to restore a normal rhythm if needed. AEDs are used to revive people from sudden cardiac arrest, which can happen when an irregular heartbeat prevents the heart from pumping properly.
