If we are closed on a major holiday, service will be delayed by 1-day following the holiday.

Garbage Collection is picked up curbside on Fridays
  • Please place your garbage at the curb before 8 AM
  • Do not place containers near parked cars, basketball goals, low branches or wires.
  • A distance of 40’ must be kept away from “Stop” signs.
  • Please keep a 4’ distance between your garbage cart, your recycling cart and other objects like plants or mailboxes.
Garbage Not Accepted:
  • Any household garbage containing yard waste will not be picked up
  • No petroleum or hazardous waste (paint, tires, car parts, chemicals)
  • Florescent light bulbs
  • Sharps (syringes and needles)
  • Broken glass
Recycling Collection is every week on Fridays. Please place your Recycling Cart (on wheels) at the curb before 8 AM on your collection day.

What is Recyclable?
  • Newspapers and inserts
  • Aluminum Cans
  • Corrugated Cardboard Containers-Includes Pizza Boxes, Cereal Boxes, etc.
  • Brown Paper Bags
  • Paper-All Colors, Office Paper, Copy Paper, Printer Paper
  • Magazines, Catalogs, Junk Mail, Phone Books
  • Aluminum Cans, Steel, Tin or Empty Aerosol Cans
What is not accepted for Recycling?
  • No petroleum or hazardous waste containers.
  • No glass of any type
  • Plastic Containers (Number 1 thru 7) (no plastic bags) or Plastic Bags
  • No Garbage or Yard Waste
Remember, the success of this system relies on recycling rather than throwing away, so please recycle all of the items mentioned!

Pickup for bulk items is by appointment only and must be prepaid. Please call Florida Express Environmental at 352-369-5411 for pricing and to schedule pick up.  Schedule an appointment for pickup of the following:
  • Furniture
  • Large Single Household Items
  • Larger Amounts of Debris-such as sheds, fencing, roofing, decking, etc.
  • Garage Clean-outs
  •  White Goods-Large Household Appliances
